Job summary
Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT) Charity raises funds for Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust's family of ten hospitals and community services including Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Manchester Royal Infirmary and Wythenshawe Hospital.

With a trust-based approach, we will readily consider flexible working patterns. With core hours of 10am - 4pm, and a minimum requirement of two days in the office per week, most of our team choose to work on a hybrid home/office basis.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for managing the Charity's press and media activity, including the development of proactive PR activity alongside the development of wider marketing content to support the charity's strategic objectives. This role is also responsible for the management of the Charity's roster of celebrity supporters and patient case studies.
To succeed in this role, you will be a highly organised individual with an ability to thrive under pressure and have a proven, results-based track record of working in a PR orjournalism role. A team player, you must be confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels, possess excellent attention to detail and a facilitative, can-do approach to working across multiple projects at any one time.
