Job summary
The post holder will provide a high quality personal assistant role to the Supportive & Palliative Team. The candidatewill be responsible for managing diaries to the above mentioned, and arranging, coordinating, and minuting various meetings.
In addition to this, they will provide project support to the Supportive & Palliative Care Team (SPCT), which includes a range of projects including, data collection, production of information and organising of the SPCT assigned projects.
Main duties of the job
Maintain all electronic diaries to those accountable to, and support with arranging/rescheduling meetings, educational sessions, booking rooms and catering, and where appropriate, travel arrangements.
Send correspondence, briefings, and reports on behalf of the SPCT and liaise directly with members of staff within the CSU
Support meetings by producing agendas, reports, minute meetings, produce and distribute documentation as required, and act on matters or follow up as necessary
The post holder will also be expected to support the Acute Oncology Team (currently based in SPCT offices) with administration support in the event of absence. This may be in addition to your usual duties.
Project support:
To liaise appropriately with key contacts at all levels, including all staff within and across the Trust, senior managers within the Trust and external organisations/individuals such as charities and speciality related resources.
Develop presentations and support with data analysis for use across the Trust.
Proactively seek information on national projects/best practice examples relevant to the development of the Supportive and Palliative Care service.
Manage, collect, and analyse information relating to project, systems, and services as directed by the SPCT. This will also include monitoring, maintaining, and managing any equipment (including medical devices) under the responsibility of SPCT.
