Job summary
The Technical Estates Lifecycle Manager (ORC) has responsibility for the management of subcontracted Lifecycle of both the PFI and Retained Estate Buildings at the Oxford Road Campus and any other sites serviced by the PFI Contract. They will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings, plant and infrastructure are lifecycled within agreed statutory requirements, in line with Trust and Industry best practice guidelines and in accordance with NHS and the Trust's policies and procedures, whilst ensuring minimal disruption to clinical services. They will lead on the collaboration with the Lifecycle Partners to deliver a patient, staff and visitor focussed and efficient service throughout lifecycle schemes.
Main duties of the job
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
1. To manage the delivery of lifecycle schemes alongside and in liaison with PFI partners in line with the Lifecycle Programme including the retained estate backlog programme.
2. To support the wider Estates team in shaping the future provision of estates and lifecycle infrastructure at ORC.
3. Oversee and monitor engineering and building services and systems which are in the lifecycle programme of works, ensuring that they are operated and decommissioned/commissioned, in accordance with all relevant current legislation and standards.
4. To be accountable for all day-to-day operational aspects of lifecycle schemes directly impacting the Trust which are subject to any form of consideration under the site lifecycle, including PFI and backlog maintenance. This will include the support and development of services to ensure they are progressive, responsive to internal and external demand, are patient focused, safe, efficient, and effective.
