Job summary

The post holder will support the Data Assurance function. They will assist in the production of a range of data quality reports to enable targeted support of Trust staff and Service Managers to improve data quality within their Division. The post holder will also be required to correct data in the Trust's IT systems and audit samples of data to investigate data quality issues.

Main duties of the job

To support the collection of high quality data for patient care and business purposes. This will including auditing, monitoring and correcting data in line with the 6 dimensions of data quality.

Essential

  • Higher National Certificate / Diploma or equivalent or relevant experience
  • Evidence of Personal Development

Desirable

  • Higher National Certificate / Diploma or equivalent qualification in an IT related subject

Experience

Essential

  • Understanding of RTT
  • Knowledge of computer applications eg, word, excel, outlook
  • Ability to use IT systems

Desirable

  • Patient related NHS administrative experience
  • Understanding of Data Quality issues in the NHS.
  • Knowledge of commissioning datasets
