Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional band 7 -8A progressional pharmacist to join the dedicated and enthusiastic Emergency Access and Assessment Team at the Oxford Road Campus. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated pharmacist with prior surgical, urgent care or critical care experience to further develop their skills and progress their career in a nationally renowned teaching hospital trust.
You will be an integral part of the multi disciplinary team and the management board to the Major Trauma Team directorate and Orthopaedic trauma service.
The role is perfect if you are innovative, enthusiastic, dynamic, flexible, a committed team player and compassionate.
Main duties of the job
You will be an essential part of the emergency access and assessment multi-disciplinary team using your skills, knowledge and experience to provide a high quality, progressive clinical service to all our highly specialist major trauma and orthopaedic trauma service.
You will provide education and training to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff. In addition to having a passion for trauma surgery you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team whilst also managing your own workload. You must be able to manage and motivate others and have the ability to influence the multidisciplinary team and engage with key stakeholders.
