Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the multi-award winning Energy & Sustainability Team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trustas a Waste Officer.

You will be responsible for monitoring waste services, undertaking waste audits and ensuring legislative compliance as part of a team across MFT's sites.You will have the ability to manage a variable workload and to work as part of a team, and will be committed to ensuring highstandards.

Main duties of the job

The role involves supporting the implementation of waste and other sustainability initiatives. You will also be responsible for identifying anddelivering projects to reduce waste and improve segregation.

The role will support waste management across the Trust including requirement to work from various Trust sites.
