Job summary
We are seeking a Clinical Group Director of Performance & Operations who is a driven and inspired individual to be responsible for the direct delivery of all patient services across our Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington & Altrincham (WTWA) Clinical Group - a role that will take your career and experience to another level.
Accountable for ensuring effective systems, processes and performance management arrangements are in place to deliver high standards of patient care, you will lead and support operational managers to hold service lines to account, ensuring there is effective operational support at all levels across the Clinical Group.
Reporting to the WTWA Clinical Group Chief Executive, you will role model values-led compassionate leadership, empower others in decision making and enable our teams to make the most valuable contribution, all leading to a high performing, inclusive, open and transparent culture.
In doing so, you will work closely with your Clinical Group senior leadership team to drive forward the delivery of ambitious targets founded on the curiosity to seek ways in which to continually improve performance and ensure the achievement of operational targets and high-quality care.

Main duties of the job

- You will have a successful track record in a senior operation and / or performance role, delivering high quality results within a complex environment or sector, preferable within the NHS, eager for this new challenge.
- With impressive evidence of developing and implementing transformation programmes, including the management of service change, organisational development, outcome and operational process improvement and cost reduction, you will utilise proven approaches and methodologies to improve management of performance across the Clinical Group.
