Job summary

We're looking for compassionate and caring Activity Co-ordinator with a passion to be a key part of the patient care journey here at Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). You'll communicate in a sensitive and compassionate manner with patients, relatives, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team, working flexibly over 5 days.

Main duties of the job

The therapeutic activity coordinator will lead on developing a therapeutic activity programme, facilitating groups and individual interventions and activities to support patients in their recovery goals. The post holder will work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, liaising closely with nursing and therapy staff to design person centred activities contributing positively to the emotional and psychological wellbeing of patients.
