Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Sister/Charge Nurse to join the North Manchester Critical Care team.

We are looking to appoint a Senior Critical Care nurse who is enthusiastic and highly motivated. You will form part of the senior nursing team working in partnership with the unit Matron and Lead Nurse. Part of your role will include providing leadership to the nursing team , contributing to further developing quality, patient experience, and patient safety agendas and driving forward the trust values. Part of this role includes an internal rotation from days to nights.

The Critical Care unit at North Manchester General is a 12 bedded unit that combines both level 2 and level 3 care. The Critical Care unit provides care for a mix of patients including medical, surgical, and infectious diseases.

  • Registration with NMC
  • Recognised teaching qualification
  • Post-basic qualification to minimum diploma standard or equivalent level gained by experience
