Job summary

The Phlebotomy team at North Manchester General Hospital are looking for highly motivated and enthusiasticindividuals to jointhe existing team.

This is a fast paced multi departmental service.

Duties will include blood sampling for GP patients, providing a service to the very busy and demanding blood sampling room,and for patients attending clinics of varying specialties.

Main duties of the job

Previous phlebotomy experience is essential.

Successful candidates may be asked to attend the Quality and Credit Framework Unit 48, Level 3 Venepuncture course prior to undertaking any practice as arranged with Trust Education Department (if you have completed venepuncture training outside the Trust) Practical assessments will be carried out in the work place.
