Job summary
Ensures that allservice desk queries and telephone communications are triaged and directed to the responsible Payroll or Pensions team and/or team member. Support Payroll Services Team Leaders with all admin tasks.
We offer, NHS payroll training and support, you will receive 27 days annual leave plus bank holiday and the opportunity to join the NHS pension scheme. You will work in an open modern office with great on site facilities.
Main duties of the job
- Triages the main Payroll Services Help Desk queries, categorise and assign the service requeststo the appropriate team to resolve with the SLA
- Ensures that all emails in the main Payroll Services Help Deskare directed to the appropriate team
- Answers telephone calls from MFT employee, create Service Desk tickets requeststo direct onto the appropriate team member
- Answers payroll queriesfor first line resolution
- Assists the Payroll/Pensions Team Leaders with all aspects of general administration

JOB PURPOSE
Ensures that all email, service desk queries and telephone communications are triaged and directed to the responsible Payroll or Pensions team and/or team member
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Regularly review own practices and makes changes in accordance with current and/or best practice, makes suggestions for improved practice and identifies where other activities affect own practice
- Achieves and demonstrates agreed standards of personal and professional development within agreed timescales
- Contributes positively to the effectiveness and efficiency of the teams in which they work
- Undertakes any other duties at the request of the line manager, which are commensurate with the role, including project work
