PRIMARY LOCATION : Wythenshawe Hospital and International house
Band 2
We are looking to recruit an Outpatient Clerk/Receptionist to work in the Main Outpatients of this busy teaching hospital.
This post will primarily be located at Wythenshawe Hospital, athough there may be occasions when cross-site working is required (Withington, Trafford, Altrincham Hospitals).
The successful candidates will join a well established, friendly team, committed to providing a quality service to our patients. Previous clerical experience in a hospital environment would be an advantage but is not essential, as training will be given.

Main duties of the job
- Registering referrals
- ASI lists
- Validating
- Phone enquires
- Rebooking / rescheduling patients
- Work queues
- Phoning patients with appts at short notice if required
- Phoning patients and cancelling appts at short notice
- Requesting notes for the next day's clinic
- Updating patient demographics/data input
- Training
- Reception cover in multiple areas within OPD
- Any other admin duties
