Job summary
The WTWA Estates Officer (Electrical) has responsibility for Hard Facilities Management (FM) services and sub contracted services at Wythenshawe Hospital, Trafford Hospital, Withington Community Hospital, Altrincham Hospital and any other sites serviced by the WTWA Estates Team.. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings, plant & infrastructure are maintained safely and cost effectively within agreed statutory requirements, in accordance with NHS and the Trust's policies and procedures. The successful candidate will manage and monitor programmes of work, Compliance, Health & Safety (H&S) legislation and work with the Trust's Energy & Sustainability team to ensure efficient use of energy, power and utilities services. S/he will deputise for the WTWA Estates Manager in his/her absence.
