Job summary

Manchester Royal Infirmary is recruiting a Transformation Support Officer to join our Transformation Team.

Manchester Royal Infirmary's Transformation Team is responsible for providing leadership and delivery of transformation programmes and projects, and Building A Culture of Continuous Improvement across the hospital. Our current Transformation Plan includes programmes focussed on Urgent and Emergency Care, Outpatients and Theatres; transforming services, driving productivity and efficiency, delivering Value for Patients and optimising the potential of Hive, our single electronic patient record system which went live across MFT in September 2022.

Main duties of the job

As an integral and valued member of the team, the post holder will assist with the development and implementation of large-scale change programmes and improvement projects. They will also play a key role in helping to build a vibrant culture of continuous improvement across the hospital through the effective co-ordination and promotions of events and classes.

The post holder will have a sound working knowledge of using an established programme / project management approach, alongside experience of producing programme plans, quality assurance and project documentation.

With excellent communication and prioritisation skills, and experience of working across teams and organisations, this is a great opportunity for an individual to develop their career in transformation.
