Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is delighted to advertise one substantive Consultant Radiologist posts with a specialist interest in Head and Neck Imaging to join our existing motivated and dynamic team across this large, developing and aspirational Trust. This post is within the Adults' Radiology Directorate within the Division of Imaging.
Main duties of the job
Subspecialty
The department of Radiology is excited to offer a Consultant Radiology post with a specialist interest in Head and Neck imaging to join our vibrant and forward-thinking team. This post will be based at MFT with sessions available on any of our Adult radiology sites including North Manchester General Hospital, Wythenshawe hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful applicant with MFT offering regional tertiary level services including:
- Tertiary level ENT & Maxillofacial surgical services at both Oxford Road & South campuses, which are currently merging to form a single cross-trust team.
- One of the UKs largest Cochlear implant services at our Oxford Road campus
- Tertiary level Eye services at our Oxford Road campus (Royal Eye Hospital).
- Tertiary level Dental services at our Oxford Road campus (University of Manchester Dental Hospital).
- Head and Neck cancer services with imminent plans to merge to MDTs
- Adult medical services at both campuses, including Endocrinology (which includes thyroid and parathyroid work)
- Regional MDTs & services including Neurofibromatosis 1 & 2 services.
Acute & On-Call Radiology
This comes with 1PA of general Acute and 0.5 PA of On-call.
