Job summary
The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the development of a performance focused culture where safety, effectiveness and patient experience are consistently delivered through the provision of high-quality performance information, analytical interpretation, benchmarking, forecasting and intelligent modelling.
The post-holder is responsible for the extraction, processing, validation, and analysis of information to support corporate and clinical services within WTWA.
The post holder will be required to liaise closely with Trust wide clinical and operational teams. They will work collaboratively with the WTWA divisions, ensuring consistent and high-quality WTWA service delivery.
Main duties of the job
To understand the national and local performance standards, especially those relating to WTWA divisions
Develop operational reports the process of which will include the scoping of requirements, designing reports, documenting processes, and testing and validating data
Establish information requirements in conjunction with the Strategic Analyst, Head of Performance and Delivery and Head of Improvement and develop a reporting process, using the data warehouse where appropriate, to meet those needs
Support managers and clinicians in the decision-making process by ensuring that the information generated is accurate, timely and 'fit for purpose'
Facilitate the production of detailed information to monitor performance and operational requirements agreed with key stakeholders providing information for divisional and service managers, corporate managers, and clinicians as appropriate
