Job summary
To work as a member of the PACS and Order Comms Team, to ensure the relevant systems are maintained efficiently and to effectively support the delivery of Imaging Services within the Trust, including the Lung Health Check Programme. To perform a range of administrative and system support functions under the guidance of the PACS Manager.
Main duties of the job
- Take responsibility for ensuring that all daily checks and system administration duties are carried out by the junior PACS and Order Comms Administrators, in a timely manner and in accordance with the provided Standard Operating Procedures.
- To monitor and manage own designated work load.
- Ensuring the cross cover of colleagues and co-ordination of leave in line with departmental arrangements.
- To aid in the training of the junior PACS and Order Comms Support Administrators, ensuring safe practice.
