The vision of the EHW Service is to provide efficient, highly professional and cost-effective serviceswhich meet the common and often complex occupational health challenges faced by our large and diverse workforce.

We are currently increasing our service delivery modelwhich means that we are undergoing some exciting changes. MFT recognises the value of EHW and so funding for development has been agreed to support our building for the future. Are you the person we are looking for to help with this new vision?

Occupational medicine has been at the forefront of Employee Health and Wellbeing during the pandemic and here at MFT the EHW Service is part of a national trailblazing pilot in terms of developing that arena - Growing OH. Working within our service delivery teams, the main priority is to create a dynamic approach to maximise employee health, wellbeing, and productivity.

Main duties of the job

To support our case management (fitness for work) service, and Clinical Services Team, we are currently recruiting Occupational Health experienced and/or qualified practitioners to support this service delivery and work alongside our expert colleagues in providing an EHW service to our highly skilled organisation. The candidates will be highly motivated and competent to carry out the full remit of the fitness for work assessment (Case manager/Fitness For Work role), as well as delivering immunisations and vaccination programmes . They will be able to provide quality reports to management and be able to engage with all relevant stakeholders. There will be a requirement to engage with managers and Trust staff across the MFT sites to ensure understanding and to deliver support.

Taking a business partnership approach, you will work alongside EHW colleagues and the senior management team, to provide proactive EHW services to the Trust as well as supporting external contracts. We are looking for dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals, who are IT literate and able to develop systems and processes.
