An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the expanded Greater Manchester Targeted Lung Health Check programme. This award-winning programme delivers lung cancer screening to people aged between 55 and 74 years old, who have ever smoked in their lifetimes, from mobile clinics in the community.
Main duties of the job
The overall purpose of the Greater Manchester Targeted Lung Health Check (Lung Cancer Screening) Programme is to enable the early detection of lung cancer in order to save lives. MFT is the leader provider of the GM Targeted Lung Health Check programme and is delivering the service to areas of GM which have been identified as areas of high disease prevalence where significant impact can be made from the diagnosis of early-stage lung cancer & offering curative treatment.
