An exciting opportunity has arisen for dynamic, passionate, enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 5 staff nurses to join our team on Ward F6 at Wythenshawe Hospital.
The post holder will assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all aspects of patient care, in a caring , compassionate and sensitive manner.
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for preregistration students .
The successful applicants will have the opportunity develop, knowledge and skills in the management of medical patients.
You must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and good time management.
Main duties of the job
Ward F6 is a 32 bedded ward caring for patients undergoing routine & complex cardiac and aortic surgery.
We are looking to recruit caring and compassionate Band 5 RNs to join our dynamic nursing team. You will possess excellent communication and team working skills, together with the motivation to further develop your surgical nursing skills within this speciality.
We have both full time and part time post available - including night duty. However, you will need to be flexible in order to meet the needs of the service.
