This is an exciting opportunity to support the development and expansion of our Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Centre of Excellence, which sits across MFT's Workforce & Finance functions. RPA is a key element of MFT's digital strategy and will deliver significant service efficiencies and quality improvements. Both our Finance and Workforce Teams have started their automation journey and are now looking to grow their internal RPA expertise to accelerate progress.
The successful candidate will play a key role across all stages of the automation process, supporting with process selection, design, development, deployment and maintenance. The Centre of Excellence will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the developments created are robust, fit for purpose and transform transactional tasks into well embedded automated solutions. The team will work proactively to embed clear design standards and best practice, to maintain and deliver a consistent approach to governance, and to develop a culture/ model for continuous improvement.
We are looking for an RPA developer to join our team, with experience of identifying efficiencies in business processes and converting to automation designs and solutions. You will have a digital mindset, believing in the art of the possible but focused on simplifying and streamlining.
Main duties of the job
- Work with stakeholders, including RPA citizen developers, to scope RPA opportunities, providing consultancy style advice/ support in relation to automation.
- Develop plans for Bot development lifecycle, determining resource/capability to build and associated governance.
- Support the development of Return on Investment and KPIs for potential Bots.
- Undertaken pre-development activities such as feasibility assessments, risk assessments, complexity /impact scoring, and develop Product Design documents.
- Build and test bots, undertake formal user acceptance testing, and develop Technical Design documentation.
- Support the deployment and develop maintenance plans, assessment of benefits and development of business continuity plans
- Ensure the design and content of all supporting documentation supports rigorous governance processes.
