Job summary

Are you a well organised individual with excellent I.T. skills? Are you someone who can make a difference towards safer healthcare in Manchester? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join the Governance & Risk Team at the Wythenshawe Hospital.

The post holder will work with colleagues within the Governance & Risk Team, and across the organisation, to support the delivery of safer healthcare and a safer environment for patients and staff. You will play a key part in the team, by developing and supporting systems to monitor and coordinate programmes of work and delivery of action logs.

Applicants should possess good numeric, IT and literature skills and also experience of general office administration. Enthusiasm, excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. In addition: it would be helpful to have worked in a health care setting before.

Full time permanent position.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for the inputting of clinical audit information and will assist the clinical leads with the administration of national and local clinical audit projects, through acquiring relevant clinical records and use these to input into databases.

The post holder will need good communication skills and the ability to handle data and will need attention to detail and accuracy.

The post holder will work closely with the community respiratory team and the clinical audit team and will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team with a variety of experience
