Job summary

This exciting opportunity is to join our team for 6 months over the winter period working at the One Stop Resource Centre (OSRC) community equipment store in Trafford.

Due to internal moves within the teams, 2 posts are now available and can either be a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity

This is a rewarding role where you will deal with the public and clinical professionals daily.

Training will be given , experience of dealing with the public is desirable.

You will require a clean driving license as you will share the driving of the delivery vans with your colleagues.

Main duties of the job

  • To deliver, install and demonstrate items according to the daily schedule.
  • To support the Senior Technical Officer in the installation of any required bespoke equipment.
  • To ensure that any item that requires installing is fitted in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, Trust policy and occasionally specific Local Authority instructions.
  • To ensure that all referrer instructions e.g., height settlings are complied with.
  • To communicate effectively with the equipment assessor if there are any issues regarding fitting etc.
  • To drive the allocated vehicle safely and in accordance with the Highway Code.
  • To carry out daily checks on vehicles and reporting any faults as necessary using standard Trust documentation and according to Trust procedure.
