Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within MFT, for a dynamic, driven, and conscientious Band 7 Diabetes Specialist Nurse to deliver care to patients with Type 2 diabetes at the DEM centre in Peter Mount Building at MRI . As part of this service the diabetes nurse specialist will monitor and improve standards of care through supervision of practice, clinical audit, evidence-based practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues and the provision of skilled professional leadership
Main duties of the job
As part of this role the post holder will work closely with a team of diabetes nurse specialists, consultants and dieticians
The post holder will work within the values and beliefs of MFT to ensure a high quality, efficient and caring service is delivered. The post holder will be committed to providing high quality care to patients and helping them to make the right decisions about their treatment options, with the skills to guide and advise them throughout their treatment journey.
