Job summary

Band 5 Audiologist with a general role including adults and domiciliary visits. There is scope for further training in more complex adult audiology including complex rehabilitation and management. The post holder with work across all our sites and needs transport.

Main duties of the job

This is an opportunity for an experienced and qualified audiologist to join our established Audiology Department at Trafford Hospitals. We have 2 main hospital sites, Trafford and Altrincham Hospital. This is a varied role looking after adults within the audiology service. The department offers complex and routine adult and paediatric audiology assessment and habilitation work.As a department, we see a large number of patients with complex hearing problems as much of the work is non-routine which will present an opportunity for you to develop specialist skills. To this end, the Trust is committed to supporting you with your personal career goals, and further training and development programmes will be actively encouraged. In addition, the department has close educational and research links to The University of Manchester. You should have a BSc in Audiology, BAAT parts I & II or equivalent.
