We're looking for a visionary Director of Operations with a passion for transforming healthcare & driving positive change. As a results-orientated leader, they will spearhead how we work, to deliver health innovation in Greater Manchester.

You'll have exceptional team leadership & people management skills, with demonstrable experience in programme delivery and strategy implementation. With an ability to think strategically, the Director of Operations will have authority to make operational & policy decisions. Style flexibility, emotional intelligence, learning agility & excellent communication skills are essential & you'll need to demonstrate credibility with internal & external stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

The Director of Operations is a Board-level executive who will play an integral role in the ongoing development of HInM. Their key focus will be on driving seamless execution of programme delivery aligned to HInM's vision and strategy, designing strategies to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness in a complex landscape, while championing a high-performing team culture and motivating staff toward excellence.

  • You will be accountable for the operational management of the organisation, including the standard and quality of project management across all portfolio are
  • You will manage key relationships with senior stakeholders, to optimise delivery in line with strategies, and you will manage the relationship with our host.
  • You will be responsible for creating and implementing organisational strategy and plans that foster a positive and productive workplace culture, and ensure the wellbeing and development of its people
  • You will hold an internal budget of £4m - leading the delivery function and HR & OD, IT and Estates functions
