Job summary

An exciting has arisen to join our friendly Speech and language therapy team as an SLT assistant. This will involve supporting the Head and neck/voice team based at North Manchester General Hospital

Main duties of the job

The postholder will work as part of the adult speech and language therapy (SLT) team whose role it is to provide assessment, rehabilitation, management and/or support to clients with communication and/or swallowing problems. The team sees patients in hospital wards, in outpatient settings, in their own homes, nursing homes and other community settings.

The postholder will develop through the acquisition of further skills, in the specialist area of Voice/Head and Neck.

The postholder will also be required to carry out administrative duties to support the team
