Main duties of the job

This position reports to the MRI Assistant Director of Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness Manager - Clinical Audit working works closely across the hospital, audit and Clinical Service Unit leadership teams, as well as staff within our services and wards.

The post-holder will be responsible for providing direct support, co-ordination, implementation and delivery of the Hospital Clinical Audit and Governance agenda and support the hospital's to deliver high quality safe care with a focus on patient safety.

The role will also provide advice on National Audits, Clinical Governance systems and provide key analytical support on all aspects of patient safety across the CSU's within the agreed remit of this post.

Using your expertise, you will lead on a specific portfolio of work to support the patient safety and national audit agenda across the hospital site. This means providing guidance regarding clinical governance across the hospital for the multi-disciplinary teams, supporting the development of the strategic and operational plans for Clinical Governance and facilitating a culture of safety and improvement across the hospital.
