The Emergency Department at the North Manchester General (MFT) is expanding and with this comes the need for senior nursing staff with established skills in Emergency Medicine to join a fantastic team of nursing and medical colleagues. We are pleased to advise that one positions have become available to join the team giving you the ideal opportunity to develop your career and progress your Continual Professional Development.The ED at North Manchester General (MFT) sees around 100,000 new patients a year, ranging from minor injuries and illness to medical and surgical emergencies. The department currently hosts a recently opened 5-bed resuscitation area as well as 23 majors cubicles, an Ambulance Rapid Assessment Unit and Ambulatory Care (incorporating Minors, Minor Injuries and Primary Care facilities). The department continues to grow and morph into the Emergency Department of the future and with your help we will continue to be a centre of excellence with the expansion of our current department to a new department over the next 5 years.To be successful, you should have:- NMC registration- extensive experience of Emergency Medicine with a proven track record of training and education including TNCC and ALS qualifications.- an ENP (Autonomous Practitioner) qualification would be beneficial as this role rotates into our established Nurse Practitioner service- experience of managing people would be a advantageous
