Job summary

This posts exists to provide leadership for Hive Training both new starter induction and Hive thrive training they are a key member of the Hive Training Workstream and will lead a team to deliver this work. They will lead on the development and delivery of Hive and systems training supporting the training team to innovate and further develop fit for purpose training to support the organisation. The post holder will ensure sustainable teaching and production of materials to support skills, knowledge and behaviours.

The post holder will also lead in the collaboration with clinical and non clinical leads to collect and monitor training feedback. They will proactively lead training needs assessments to support greater expertise within Hive & Systems and in support of organisational priorities. The post holder in collaboration with other Hive Team, Informatics and Digital NMAHP team members leads a key role in developing key training pathways and escalators to enable users to move from beginner to expert

The post holder is responsible for over seeing the training environments and ensuring that all work is done to maintain and ensure all environments are fit for purpose and use at MFT.

Main duties of the job

  • Support the work stream lead in their work to coordinate and deliver a high quality education and training service with particular focus on hive training
  • Lead on the development delivery and evaluation of all- system training
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the local and national imperatives for training for NHS staff
  • Represent the trust at external meetings where necessary
  • Seek out opportunities to create new partnerships across other areas of learning and development
  • Work with internal and external partners to contribute to a community of digital training and learning across the UK epic community
  • Research and develop suitable evaluation and quality assurance tools for the digital and face to face training the hive work stream offers
  • Research best practise in the design and delivery of system training programmes and their implementation in the trust
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where required
  • Support the development of the team
  • Produce any required metrics to support the ongoing work of the training workstream
  • Monitor in conjunction with the Module Leads success rates of team members moving through Epic accredited training
  • Work proactively across teams to understand training requirements are for projects and improvements
  • Work towards any nationally or locally defined standards for training
