Job summary
The Decontamination Services Department (DSD) provides a decontamination service to all MFT hospitals on the Oxford Road Campus including Manchester Royal Infirmary, Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, St Mary's Hospital and the University Dental Hospital of Manchester, in addition to external clinics. The department has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, including the replacement of all washer-disinfectors and sterilisers, and a complete refit of the washroom and cleanroom.
An exciting opportunity has now become available for an experienced decontamination manager to lead the department as DSD Manager. Working with a strong managerial support team including an Operational Manager, Production Managers, Quality Manager and Training Manager, you will be responsible for developing the department's strategy and enhancing the service provided to customers and patients.
Main duties of the job
The Decontamination Services Manager is responsible for the operational management of the central DSD and the provision of a flexible and responsive service which meets the needs of the customer.

- Possession of a recognised Management qualification
