Job summary

We are looking to recruit two enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the very busy Urology Department. The role will be supporting the Urology Team undertaking a variety of administration tasks.

You will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and extensive administration experience, ideally gained in an NHS setting. Knowledge of Urology terminology would be a bonus. You will be comfortable working as part of a team but also able to use your own initiative. Experience of using HIVE is essential.

You will primarily be based at Manchester Royal Infirmary but there will be occasions where you will be required to provide administration cover at other MFT sites.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for a wide range of administration tasks including management of referrals, answering patient queries by telephone, occasional reception cover and assisting the medical secretaries in their day to day duties.
