This is an exciting and challenging senior position and the successful candidate will join the Division at a time of growth and integration that will ensure that MFT provides equitable clinical services across Manchester.
You will be a highly experienced and successful senior operational manager commanding strong credibility among clinicians and health leaders alike. Experience of the relevant clinical services would be an advantage but not essential. With an excellent track record of transforming services to facilitate outstanding patient care and quality standards you will also be adept at managing both financial and performance targets.
Main duties of the job
Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington, and Altrincham (WTWA) Hospitals are looking to recruit outstanding Divisional Directors to join the management team comprising the Clinical Head of Division and Head of Nursing. This senior team will ensure that the division is clinically led and managerially enabled to deliver the divisional priorities. Following a recent review of our divisional structures we are excited to recruit to new divisional director roles for the following divisions:
- Respiratory
- TNO, Burns and Plastics
Delivering performance, setting strategy, achieving financial balance and ensuing governance arrangements are maintained are all key components of this role.
With compassionate and inclusive leadership, the successful candidate will model the Trust's values and behaviours to continuously improve health outcomes, and the quality of the patient experience.
This may well be your next step towards a Director role, and you will be supported in your own CPD at both a local and MFT Group level via a development programme to achieve your ambitions.
