HealthRoster Specialist

Workforce Systems is seeking an engaged and proactive individual to take forward the implementation and BAU Support of eRostering, Safe Care and related Allocate Products across the Trust's various staff groups.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a member of a team focused on driving forward dynamic projects and supporting existing users as part of BAU, ensuring delivery to time and quality in order to realise the benefits to our services.

You'll have excellent organisation and communication skills and knowledge of change management and clinical activity. The ability to work flexibly, adapting to timescales and excellent team working skills are essential.

Prior knowledge of Allocate systems is not essential, as the successful candidates will be supported by the Trust Workforce Systems team to develop the skills and knowledge required for effective use of the software.

The successful candidates must be willing to work across all Trust sites.

Main duties of the job

The role

As a HealthRoster Specialist, this is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting future, delivering technology solutions that will drive and maintain service improvements. Engaging with management teams and clinicians across our Hospitals, you will train and support end users on workforce systems, working to ensure successful use of these systems in order to realise business benefits. You will build strong relationships to foster transparency and consistency, as well as working closely with external suppliers.

Skills & knowledge required

Prior knowledge of Allocate systems is not essential, as the successful candidates will be supported by the Trust Workforce Systems team to develop the skills and knowledge required for effective use of the software. Your excellent IT and communication skills will be key to success, and you will be great at building effective relationships at all levels. A flexible approach and ability to work well under pressure will stand you in good stead. The work will be fast-paced and challenging but never boring!
