Main duties of the job
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual who will support the development and implementation of the Clinical Governance service across the MRI, and support the progression of a learning culture and organisation.
The post of Clinical Governance Officer will work with the wider MRI Clinical Governance Team, and the Clinical Service Unit Leadership Team, and have responsibility for the co-ordination of all clinical governance activity across the CSU, relevant to the breadth of the services within it.
You will support the promotion and facilitation of the development of effective clinical governance, risk and assurance across the CSU, including the implementing and monitoring of Group complaint and incident management process, and providing support to the CSU with the co-ordination, implementation and delivery of the corporate Clinical Governance agenda.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about improving services for our patients and staff, and will have the ability to adapt and work within our supportive multi-disciplinary team. With a proven track record in working across multi-disciplinary teams, building relationships and working effectively with others, the role will provide support and guidance to the CSU teams, in conjunction with the MRI Clinical Governance Managers.
You will have previous experience of clinical governance, and an ability to work flexibly and responsively to the needs of the service and the wider hospital.
