Data Quality Officer

The role

The Data Quality Officer works within the Data Quality team to provide a Data Quality service to the whole Trust. This involves monitoring the quality of the data in the Trust's systems in relation to NHS standards and providing feedback and support to hospital staff where appropriate.

Data, and the quality of that data underpins many of the decisions and improvements in clinical care and operation of the trust. Working with the Data Quality team, you will provide an essential data quality service to the whole Trust.

Main duties of the job

Skills & knowledge required

You'll preferably have patient related NHS administrative experience, including an understanding of referral to treatment (RTT) data. Well-organised, with excellent problem-solving skills, you will have the ability to develop new skills and learn quickly in a new environment. You'll be comfortable working with different IT systems, and proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel is essential. You'll enjoy working as a member of a dedicated team and feel confident working with clinical and administrative staff across the Trust.
