Advertising 3 positions to lead an EPR Module team
Cupid Module - focuses on the specialist workflows in relation to invasive and non invasive Cardiology
Grand Central and HIM - focuses on patient flow workflows the Hospital facilities structure
Beacon - focus on chemotherapy workflows and elements of daycase and also dialysis
The Module lead will be leading and co-ordinating the work of the application analysts for the area. They will work with the other application leads to ensure a consistent approach to the configuration and integration between all Epic modules and connected applications is taken. This will involve providing guidance, ensuring compliance around information standards and quality across the configuration teams and to the wider Digital Hospital teams. They will work in a complex and unstructured multi-disciplinary environment and need to be able to act with minimum guidelines whilst setting standards for others.
Main duties of the job
The role
As an Applications Module Lead, you'll deliver the design, configuration, testing and day to day running of your module. It's a wide-ranging, key strategic role that draws on project management skills, technical expertise, stakeholder management and clinical knowledge. As you coordinate and lead on your module's work, you'll report to a Workstream Lead and collaborate with other analysts.
You'll also be an ambassador for the Hive project and a key driver of our digital strategy. It's a chance to take on considerable responsibility in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute towards guidance and standards across the Hive team as a whole. As part of your EPR training, you'll also receive recognised qualifications in an application module.
Required skills and experience
We're looking for candidates with clinical or operational experience in the NHS. You'll be a talented communicator an exceptional project manager who can confidently oversee complex initiatives and make complicated issues easy to understand.
You should also have experience in analysing business and technical requirements or even training in Epic software. Strong leadership skills, IT literacy and a keen sense of strategy are also essential.
You'll also need a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. A relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred, but not essential.
