Job summary

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for: - The provision of high quality strategic and operational workforce support. - Ensuring best practice people management within their areas of responsibility and across the wider workforce function. - HR expertise to business decision making and develop innovative people solutions to support business plans and strategy. This will encompass our people having a great employee experience. - Liaising with other HR colleagues to maintain effective communication links, ensuring that best practice is shared and developed and to facilitate cross-cover of HR services. - Working in a manner consistent with the NHS Management Code of Conduct and the CIPD Code of Professional Conduct. - Ensuring the operational and transformational Human Resources services are aligned within Divisional and corporate areas, to promote partnership working and the delivery of a proactive and customer centered service, which improves both the service and the patient experience.

Main duties of the job

Join North Manchester General Hospital's HR and OD team, as a senior member leading on a number of exciting workforce projects across our services and with regular opportunities to enhance your CPD portfolio and career. You will oversee ER cases and help to lead initiatives that support the delivery of the People Plan. This includes enhancing the experience of our people through a range of deliverables of the People Plan: Developing workforce supply strategies, workforce transformation and our ongoing deployment of workforce systems. While you will of course have the pre-requisite skills and knowledge, a 'can do', agile and innovative approach is essential. Experience of working in a large complex group structure is desirable. You must be willing to travel to any of our hospitals on an occasional basis. Interviews are scheduled for 21 or 26 July. There is an expectation, the successful candidate can commit to start in September 2023.
