Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Family Nurse

The closing date is 19 April 2026

Job summary

We are looking for a committed nurse to join our established Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) team in Hampshire. FNP is a nationally recognised, evidence based programme designed to improve health and social outcomes for young expectant mothers and their babies. Working with families from early pregnancy until the child reaches their first birthday, the programme is delivered in line with a licensed model that emphasises fidelity, quality, and meaningful impact.

In this role, you will provide the FNP intensive, preventive home visiting programme to young first time mothers who may be experiencing vulnerabilities or barriers to accessing support. You will develop specialist skills to deliver the structured programme effectively, building strong therapeutic relationships and working closely with families in complex situations to help them achieve positive outcomes.

This is a rewarding and demanding specialist position that requires excellent clinical skills, reflective practice, and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team. The successful candidate will be required to attend a residential training course in September 2026.

We have two current vacancies, one is based at Fort Southwick and one at Andover. Both roles are 30 hours per week.

If you would like further information, then please contact: Sam Parkinson/ Vicki Pennal - FNP Supervisors hiowh.fnphampshire@nhs.net
