Job summary

We have 3 opportunities to join our Business Support Team for children and families within Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Community Children's Nursing Team, based in Battenburg Avenue Child Development Centre are looking for part time of 22.5 hours across 3 days

Our second vacancy is within our CAMHS team. They are looking for an experienced Administrator to join a busy and demanding service that plays a vital role in supporting children and young people's mental health care. This is based at Falcon House in Portsmouth and is full time(37.5 hours per week) Contact is maria.williams51@nhs.net

Our Community Paediatric Medical Service (CPMS) which includes Child Protection, Adoption and Looked after Children; This is full time (37.5 hours per week) at the Battenburg Clinic in Portsmouth. You will provide support to the medical staff within the team, as well as outside agencies and other team administrators. Contact is samantha.ainsworth2@nhs.net

Main duties of the job

About the role

You will provide essential administrative support to clinical staff, helping ensure the smooth day to day running of the service. This will include responding to enquiries, supporting clinicians, maintaining accurate records, and communicating sensitively with families.

About you

You will have:

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate telephone manner

Confidence using Microsoft Teams, Word and Outlook

A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learn

Experience using SystmOne is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

As part of a small team, you will be trusted to manage your workload, prioritise tasks effectively, and use initiative, with support available from colleagues and managers.
