Clinical Team Leader i2i
The closing date is 22 March 2026
Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced practitioner to provide operational leadership for one of our urgent assessment and home treatment teams (i2i) within CAMHS.
You will need to have a passion for working with young people at times of crisis. You will be supporting them to remain at home or supporting the step-down care from hospital. We have developed a crisis DBT pathway and therefore interest or experience in this is essential.
I2i is a county wide service that has various hubs across Hampshire. The successful candidate will be based in Ashurst and primarily cover the South West area of the county which includes the New Forest and Eastleigh.
This role is advertised as full or part time, however due to the nature of the role, it is desirable that minimum working hours would be 30 hours per week over at least 4 days. There will be occasions whereby it is required to work in other areas across Hampshire. Travel time for this additional travel will be included within working hours.
The team covers the hours of 8am - 8pm weekdays and 10am - 6pm weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are managed by a flexible rota system. Being mobile is a key element of this role so the ability to drive and own a vehicle is essential.
If you enjoy being a part of a team, supporting the development of staff whilst making a positive difference to young people and seeking a new challenge then we would be delighted to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust currently delivers the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service in Hampshire and this role will be based within the local i2i team in Hampshire. We work alongside a wide range of teams and services both within and outside of specialist CAMHS. All of our teams work collaboratively and in partnership to deliver consistent high-quality care and treatment to the young people of Hampshire.
