A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Estates team as a Skilled Electrician, working across various sites throughout Hampshire. We're looking for someone who is flexible, proactive, and confident communicating with colleagues and service users. A solid understanding of health and safety requirements is essential.
In this role, you'll play a key part in creating and maintaining safe, reliable environments that enable our staff to deliver high quality care and support to service users. Your work will directly contribute to the wellbeing of people across our mental health and community services.
Main duties of the job
Key activities/responsibilities will be to carry out and/or oversee the repair/maintenance/installation of complex plant and equipment.
This will involve a multi-skilled approach as well as the full range of duties associated with the post holder's primary trade as an Electrician.
This will include planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair works across varying systems, acting as an Authorised Person (AP) in LV Electrical to include the issuing of permits to work, carrying out electrical shutdowns in a compliant and recorded manner to assist with Maintenance works or larger Capital Project works.
