Person Centred Experiential Counselling Depression Trainee Therapist

Job summary

As part of our Talking Therapies service on the Isle of Wight, we are looking to recruit a full time Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD) trainee therapist to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated and passionate individuals, trained in Person-Centred or Humanistic counselling / psychotherapy with more than two years post-qualifying experience (minimum of 450 Client Hours Completed), to join an established team of PCE-CfD therapists. The PCE-CfD team are very proud to offer this way of working within the NHS and this is an exciting opportunity to develop your practice through training in the PCE-CfD modality and delivering high quality, evidence-based therapy for our local population.

Applicants will be committed to training and working within an NHS Talking Therapies Service at Step 3 of the Stepped Care Model. As part of the role, you provide assessments and NICE approved therapies across the locality, through a variety of means such video conference and face to face sessions working flexibly to meet the service needs.

PLEASE NOTE, this post will start as a B6 for the duration of training, and progress to a B7 once training has been completed and accredited with relevant governing body.
