Job summary
We are looking for a Support Worker Associate to join our team on working full time or part time on a permanent basis.
You will be expected to assist and support the design, delivery, and evaluation of various educational topics that relate to the development of our healthcare support worker workforce, including but not limiting to the Induction Programme and any local or national initiatives.
Assist with the allocation and coordination of clinical placements for those on programmes such as T-Levels and other appropriate early careers education programmes. This will include the upskilling of staff within the clinical area and providing pastoral support to the learners.
You will be expected to travel independently across the geographical area as required to fulfil the duties of the role. This may include having access to a vehicle and a valid UK driving licence, or suitable alternative arrangements to meet the travel requirements of the post.
Main duties of the job
Gather evidence to assist in evaluation of programmes, pastoral support and engagement
To carry out duties as designated by Facilitator/Educator
To accurately record information and keep up to date records, as required
Follow the principles for equality, diversity and inclusion
Safeguard and protect adults and children; promote the principles to others and where appropriate follow the necessary safeguarding principles required to raise a formal alert

- Completion of Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent or willingness to work towards

- Teaching Qualification such as Award in Education and Training, PTTLS or equivalent

- Relevant experience in a healthcare setting -- support worker, nursing associate/assistant practitioner or similar role
- Good level of knowledge of Health and Social Care
