Job summary
Sherwood Ward is a male acute mental health admissions ward supporting people from the West Area locality. Our purposebuilt 13bed ward offers a safe, calm environment where adults experiencing mental health difficulties can receive assessment, treatment, and compassionate care.
We work closely with our neighbouring wards, creating a supportive network that helps us provide consistent, highquality care.
Our team includes nurses, mental health practitioners, healthcare support workers, doctors, consultant psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and psychologists. Every member of our team plays a part in helping patients feel understood, supported, and empowered in their recovery.
We also enjoy welcoming newly qualified nurses and student nurses. Many choose to stay with us after qualifying because of the supportive, friendly atmosphere we work hard to maintain.
