We are looking for a full time Business Support Administrator to join our award-winning North and West Hampshire Community Respiratory Service.

We are currently based near Eastleigh and are looking for a someone with excellent communication skills, who enjoys working in a fast paced environment within a wonderfully supportive team. We will also support you with lots of opportunities to develop your NHS career.

You need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, be organised and possess strong IT skills including competence with Microsoft Office. You should possess excellent time management skills, be self-motivated and with a positive attitude, you'll be able to prioritise your work to meet deadlines and have a customer focused approach. It will be expected as part of the role that this person on occasion will be able to travel to other sites within the organisation as and when required.

Main duties of the job

This post is to provide a comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the service. You will communicate with a range of internal and external professionals and organisations, whilst always providing good customer service experience for all patients. Working specifically to assist and provide support for the administration team, we are looking for someone that has experience in working in a team, but also the initiative and motivation to work independently.

You will work as part of a skill mix team for the Respiratory Service, providing comprehensive administrative support to the service. You will be required to effectively prioritise and manage own workload as necessary. In this role you will be first point of contact for patients coming into our service.
