You will work as part of the multidisciplinary Diabetes team providing specialist advice, demonstrating a sound knowledge of the issues related to the identification, assessment, treatment and management of this clinical group, particularly those with complex needs.

In this role you will give specialist advice to GPs and other health professionals about diabetes, especially with reference to titration of medication. You will monitor and improve standards of care through supervision of practice, clinical audit, evidence-based practice, teaching and supporting professional colleagues and the provision of skilled professional leadership.
