We are looking to recruit an experienced administrator to join the School Age Immunisation Service for Hampshire.
You will provide high quality administrative support to ensure effective delivery of the commissioned school aged immunisation programme for children and young people 4-16 years. This will be a term time only position.
The School Age Immunisation Service work in partnership with Education, Primary Care and other partners to support equitable delivery of the Childhood Immunisation Programme by providing essential administrative support.

Due to the nature of the post it is expected that you will have access to a car, a full driving licence and insurance for business use.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm term time only. Happy to talk flexible working around the number of days a week that you work but due to the nature of the role the hours each day will need to be as stated.

Main duties of the job
Provide efficient, confidential administrative support within an Immunisation team that supports delivery of the commissioned school age immunisation programme for children and young people to include, but not exclusive to:
Deal efficiently and competently with complex administrative tasks often with tight deadlines.
Being the first point of contact, providing non-clinical advice when dealing with enquires from schools, parents and colleagues and independently communicate effectively on behalf of the team to service users and other professionals.
Deal professionally and promptly with telephone enquiries, taking and processing messages accurately and maintaining confidentiality at all times, and ensure standards for customer services excellence are met.
Monitoring the generic email inbox and actioning in a timely manner.
Develop effective ways of working to create strong partnerships and relationships with stakeholders to support the implementation of the childhood immunisation programme for school aged children.
Lead in coordination of administrative processes specific to children educated out of school including those that are Electively Home educated (EHE) and within the Traveller community
To provide cover and support for other admin who are based in other parts of the county.
Accessing, verifying and inputting information from various internal and external sources.
Book, attend and accurately record notes and actions of meetings. Attend Admin workgroup face to face each term.
