Main duties of the job

As a Receptionist at Trust Headquarters, you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and callers--creating a professional and welcoming environment. Your responsibilities include operating the main switchboard, managing incoming calls and messages, and responding with care to those in distress. You will handle mailroom duties such as sorting, franking, and tracking deliveries, as well as maintaining accurate records.

You will also manage meeting room bookings, issue and track security fobs, and keep the reception area tidy and presentable. Additional tasks include ordering stationery and hospitality supplies, replenishing beverage stocks, and supporting colleagues with ad-hoc admin duties.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, a confident telephone manner, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. You should be computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook), discreet, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in reception or clerical work and dealing with the public is essential.

If you're flexible, enthusiastic, and committed to delivering outstanding service, this role is for you!
