Consultants are expected to engage in CPD, teaching, clinical governance, and service development, with opportunities to contribute to research and regional networks. The service is expanding under the NHS Long Term Plan, offering enhanced support for families, partners, and infants up to 24 months. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping perinatal pathways, ensuring evidence-based, compassionate care, and promoting recovery-focused outcomes. This post offers excellent professional development, mentoring, and involvement in innovative national initiatives, making it ideal for an enthusiastic psychiatrist.
